It was just last week that a new Coldplay single made it’s way into the music world, in light of their pending album Ghost Stories. Co-Produced with Jon Hopkins and featuring Chris Martin on vocals, the new single “Midnight” was edited, mixed and bootlegged within days. We’ve sorted through all the remixes and found what we feel are the best of the best. The first remix we came across was a massive collaboration from Maor Levi, Norin & Rad and Kevin Wild. The four BFF’s remix boasts a big room sound, featuring piano-based chords all layered in with a flammable melody. The second remix we’re sharing comes from Sweden’s Marcus Schossow. The Schossow take delivers a smooth progressive mix to the original that maintains a quality production till the very end. The third remix comes to us from UK-based Joshua Ollerton. Ollerton’s polished remix of “Midnight” may be our favorite of the above – adding sparkling layers, progressive chords, and uplifting melodies. We love all the above renditions and they’re unique in their reflection of the respective producers’ styles. Check them out, let us know your favorite below!
