Who here doesn’t enjoy a Funky Record? We definitely do and apparently so do the two founders behind Intricate Records. Teaming up together on a new super-collaboration PROFF and Vadim Soloviev have created a contemporary progressive production that’s lively and dancefloor happy. The original single “It’s a Funky Record” boasts an 80s vibe that’s almost no doubt a tribute the disco era. The second version of the track that we’re really enjoying is a remix by French producer Matt Fax. Adding some brilliant flare to the mix, Fax maintains the casual buildup but throws an unexpected breakdown in creating a solid remix production that sounds great. These two tracks are definitely funky, yet flavorful and we’re enjoy them both very much.
