It’s not every weekend that a big name producer and DJ comes to New York and drops a fire set. But that’s exactly what happened this past Saturday at Webster Hall in New York City. The unmistakable Swedish producer Marcus Schossow dropped through the Big Apple and took Webster Hall’s BriteNites to a whole new level. The set itself tops one of them one of the most energy-packed sets we’ve seen and it was so explosive it was reminiscent of what one would expect at a festival. The two hours were packed with club favorites from Swedish House Mafia to a “Teenage Crime” remix and even “Personal Jesus” but we have to say – “Fire Fire Fire” was not in the set! We’ll forgive him as “Fire Fire Fire” featuring his sister Linnea on vocals is technically from his trance alias – Progresia. Either way, if Marcus’ set from last weekend is any indication of what he has in store for festivals this summer – they will be sounding phenomenal.
