Above & Beyond Sail Through Revel HQ in Atlantic City – January 31st Show Review

For an Above & Beyond fan, it really doesn’t get much better than what happened last weekend. Set in Atlantic City‘s finest, Revel’s HQ Nightlife hosted two thirds of the world’s most famous trance trio: Above & Beyond members Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki. The two delivered an intimate set leaving club goers speechless and stunned. Feeding off the crowd’s energy, Tony & Paavo demonstrated their wizardry with a well-rounded set of their own new originals such as “Walter White”, “Mariana Trench”, “Black Room Boy”, and “Thing Called Love”. The set also contained tons of crowd favorites such as the trio’s new mashup with Arty called “You Got to Believe”, Mat Zo‘s “Pyramid Scheme”, Ilan Bluestone and Jerome Isma-Ae‘s “Under My Skin” and Myon & Shane‘s “Young & Beautiful” remix to name just a few. Just as if the the show couldn’t seem to get any better – Tony & Paavo dropped, in Atlantic City’s biggest night club, their acoustic version of “Satellite/Stealing Time.” As if it were second nature, the crowd broke into an emotionally-charged, chilling sing-along leaving anyone unfamiliar with Above & Beyond a huge fan. The two hour set accented by LED walls and fantastic sound was one of our favorite shows we’ve seen from Above & Beyond and not to mention… some much needed Group Therapy.
