It’s not an everyday occurrence that one of Anjuna‘s top performers drops through town and does a massive club set. Ever since we last checked out Mat Zo at Electric Zoo – we’ve been drooling to get another chance to see him live and finally that opportunity happened. Since the release of his debut album, Zo has been all over the world promoting his latest creation: Damage Control.

Supported by Treasure Fingers, Pacha’s house was packed with goers – ready for a Friday in style. Zo finally took the booth around 2 am and over the course of the next three hours delivered a set so great, it was almost engineered. Kicking off with his “EZ” dub mix, Zo’s sound traveled through various phases of styles. Featuring tracks from Mord Fustang, a Kane Michael “Sun & Moon” remix, and even Prodigy’s “Breathe” – Zo was able to capture all sorts of energy. His set was peppered with goodies and even shared a MRSA-styled “Get Lucky” – moombahton style remix that left the crowd bouncing off the walls.

Proven in his abilities to deliver a solid show, one of the reasons we were most excited about this set was finally being able to check out “Damage Control” live. The tracks were peppered throughout his set in some form or another and when Zo finished up with “The Sky” – I think we melted alongside of every other Pacha-goer.
