Above & Beyond – “Mariana Trench” – BUY
What’s frequently been described as our planet’s least explored places, “Mariana Trench” also happens to be the name of Above & Beyond‘s latest single. Marking yet another milestone for the English trio and Anjunabeats, Paavo remarked in regards to the track “We found that notion quite inspiring [Mariana Trench], so we named the track after the least explored part of the Pacific Ocean.” Featuring an emotional physique, the deep and haunting single is centered around a piano motif blended within a progressive sound and a boisterous bassline. One of 19 debuted tracks at Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 50 in London this past October, the new single is the first of many tracks forthcoming on Above & Beyond’s next EP this 2014.
