Empire of The Sun – “Alive” (Mat Zo)
We first got turned on into Empire of the Sun back in 2008, when the group had just released their first album “Walking On a Dream” which was an incredible album and there really still is no sound quite like it out there. Recently, the Australian group released a new track “Alive” and look was surfaced: a Mat Zo remix. The track enters with a casual build-up maintaining that Empire of The Sun sound that we’re so accustomed to, when it happens. Mat Zo bursts out from under the boring nerdiness and BOOM there it is. Zo takes the track from zero to sixty in no time literally bringing the track to ‘alive’ with a big room house sound. This is a really cool remix – something timeless that he probably had permission to remix… maybe?
