Andrew Bayer, the D.C. native has finally given us a taste of his new EP: ‘If It Were You, We’d Never Leave”. The new track that was released on Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Episode 19 was highly anticipated and blown up big time prior to the show. The song was featured as the record of the week by the British Trio, the reaction to the track was pleasantly surprising. Although different, we watched as the new track was discussed on twitter and its listeners described it as, simply put: “beautiful”. One twitter even said @_jennarous: “#losesight is a Xanax song for sure annnnd I loveee it ✨” stars and all.
“Lose Sight” is remarkably beautiful and we’ve always been a fan of Andrew Bayer. We do have to say one thing though… the song reminds of Derek Vincent Smith aka Pretty Lights. The song boasts a slowed down tempo and very much reminiscent of Bayer’s remix of “Green and Blue” by Neil Davidge. As soon as we can get our hands on the rest of the “If It Were You, We’d Never Leave” EP: we’ll have a review ASAP.
